These Masks Will Give You SUPER SKIN!

As South Asians you must be well aware of the benefits that are associated with turmeric, not just for your health but also for skin. This super food is a treatment for acne blemishes, blackheads, dark spots, hyperpigmentation and many other skin issues. For wrinkles and fine lines

In order to prevent wrinkles and fine lines, you can use a mixture of turmeric with milk, take some turmeric powder, mix in raw milk and tomato juice to form a paste. Apply on the face as well as the neck for 30 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water.

For bright skin 

Turmeric is an amazing exfoliator. Mix equal proportion of turmeric powder with chickpea oil add in some milk or yogurt to make a paste, apply all over the face, leave it on for 15 minutes and wash off. It will instantly give you a glow and brighten effect.

For reduction of facial hair 

If you have considerable facial hair and want to use a natural method, you need to mix turmeric powder with chickpea flour, you can also use a facial scrub instead of chickpea, make a paste with water, apply all over the face and leave it on for 15 minutes. If used regularly, it can reduce facial hair.

For acne treatment

Turmeric has antiseptic and anitbacterial properties that is why it works well for the treatment of acne and breakouts. It helps with acne scarring and discoloration of the skin. Mix turmeric powder with water or coconut oil or sesame oil and dab it onto the pimple. You can even mix turmerix with lemon juice and apply on the pimple for 15 minutes to reduce the inflammation and get rid of the bacteria.

For oily skin 

Turmeric is great for oily skin as it controls the production of sebum. Add a pinch of the powder in 1-1/2 tablespoon of sandalwood powder and 3 tablespoons of orange juice. Sandalwood powder is a natural astringent where as orange juice contains acid that clear blemishes. Apply the mixture to the face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water, you will notice clear, moisturised skin right after.
