Quick & Easy DIY Makeup Brush Cleaner That Will Make Your Tools Brand New

You should have a habit of cleaning your makeup brushes regularly, if you dont, you are inviting some of the worst things to happen to your skin. Dirty makeup brushes hold dead skin cells, dust, bacteria and oil!  Continuously using brushes without washing them can clog your pores and give you infection on your face or acne. It is absolutely essential to wash those brushes regularly to keep all the nasties away from your face. Here are some DIYs you can experiment with to wash your brushes at home.

Olive oil & soap 

This is quite common DIY for brushes. Simply take equal parts of olive oil and liquid soap, mix them really well. Take your brushes, wet them a little and rub it into the mixture gently, when they are coated with it completely, rinse it off with plain water and let it air dry.

Baby Shampoo 

This is super easy, one step DIY, take a baby shampoo and pour it on the brushes, rinse them well and let it air dry. The formula of the shampoo will not harm the delicate bristles and will let them retain their shape.
