How do you get pimple spots & hyperpigmentation?

When a pimple or acne appears on your skin, your skin tries to heal itself. During the healing process there is a chance that the cells sent to restore the original form of the skin contains too much melanin. Melanin is what gives your skin the colour it has, so when there is too much melanin production, dark spots or hypergimentation occurs.

Ways to cure the spots & hyperpigmentation
  • Fruit juices

According to Waqar,

You can make use of certain home remedies to control them, you should drink alot of juices like grape juices and apple juices, these will start the repairing process of dark spots and hyperpigmentation internally.

  • Aloe Vera

Another home remedy that you can make use of is to apply aloe vera to the dark spots, aloe vera has anti inflammatory properties and healing properties that can cure the spots and hyperpigmentation.

  • Grapeseed extract

Grapeseed extract is a natural supplement that is said to lighten dark spots, people who have been suffering from melasma has shown improvements in their skin condition after using grapeseed extract.

For topical application, doctors recommend: Vitamin A, kojic acids, AHAs and hydroquinone – Waqar Ashraf

There are some procedures that can also cure these spots and hyperpigmentation. Chemical peels are very commonly carried out. They basically remove the damaged cells to reveal new, younger skin cells. Mircrodermabrasion is also carried out to diminish the spots, this is basically an exfoliation treatment that removes the skin imperfections and make the skin smooth and flawless.
