Essential Oils You Need To Use To HYDRATE Your Skin

Welcome Winters with your arms wide open and your skin well hydrated.

Are you mentally ready to have dry, patchy, and flaky skin? because winter is coming ! We are sure you are not and you don’t need to because we are here to help you with this common winter skin concern.

When humidity level drops, air becomes dry, and water in your body evaporates quickly, your skin naturally dries up and looks the way you definitely don’t want it to look. Steamy hot showers are a cherry on the top and indoor dry heating makes the case worse.

You gotta keep your skin hydrated with the right products this winter girl!

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil gives you the kind of moisture your skin naturally produces which makes it a good fit for those who don’t like their skin to be oily. Jojoba oil works its magic by sinking into the skin and hydrating the deepest level of the skin without leaving any residue on the surface.  pour 5-6 drops of jojoba oil into your hand. Gently rub the oil into your face before you get into the bed.

Chamomile oil

Dry skin becomes irritable. Mix a few drops of chamomile essential oil with coconut oil for a smooth and calm skin. Chamomile oil also makes your skin radiant with abundant hydration and is a quick healer for wounds and sun burns.

Lavender

Dry skin brings along itchiness and scaliness. Since lavender has hydration properties and reduces inflammation, it can help keep dryness and eczema at bay. Dilute it in any other carrier oil of your choice and apply on a cleansed face.

Citronella oil

Citronella oil enhances skin health, and improves skin’s absorption of moisture which is what we all need for a beautiful skin. Mix 6 to 10 drops in any other carrier oil or moisturizer and use daily.

Apricot Kernel Oil

If you have a sensitive skin then this is a great option for you. It stays very gentle while giving some power packed moisture to the skin.  As a moisturizer, apply a few drops of Pure Apricot Kernel Oil and gently massage.

In winters, your skin loses 25% of the ability to hold the moisture in. Not every moisturizer has the capacity to save you from the horrors of dry skin. Use the oils mentioned above so that your skin is always appealing.
