As The Weather Changes, You Need To Make These Changes To Your Skincare!

The weather is changing in most parts of the country and while we are excited about this change, we are also thinking about the effects the changing weather will have on our skins. We spend considerable amount of time and money, picking out winter wardrobe but totally forget about our skincare products, this winter make some changes to the products that you are using so that your skin is healthy and happy! keep on reading as we tell you how you can switch up your skincare products.

1) Replace gel cleansers with cream ones

Your skin is in dire need of moisture in colder weather, using strong cleansers will only dry up your skin. Choose cream cleansers that are not only gentle on your skin but they also have enough moisture.

2) Use a moisturising toner

Switching your astringent for a moisturising toner is also a good idea in the cold weather. They wont dry up your skin and will work on those pores! if you have oily skin, go for a clarifying toner, if you have combination or dry skin, opt for hydrating toner.

3)Use richer creams

Use richer creams instead of lightweight mosituriser in the cold. Lightweight moisturiser is great for summers but it wont do the trick in winters. In the cold weather you need richer creams that can protect your skin and keep it hydrated.

4) Use serum daily

Serums are great for hydration and targeting specific skin issues hence incorporating them in your daily skincare in winter is a great idea! serum has active ingredients that works best to cure skin issues.

5) Use a mask every week

Face mask is very important  regardless of the season but they become an absolute MUST in winter season. They tackle blackheads, dullness, congestion and many other skin issues. use a hydrating mask in the colder season to nourish the skin.

6) Use lip balms instead of lipsticks

We arent asking you to completely ditch your lipsticks, but go for lip balms in colder weather that is because, our lips are the most vulnerable in cold weather since they dont naturally produce oil.
