The terms BB and CC cream have been misunderstood since so long. BB Cream(Beauty Balm):

Garnier BB Cream Classic

BB stands for “beauty balm”. A BB cream is a tinted moisturizer  a natural coverage and skin benefits, such as:

  • Priming properties
  • SPF filters
  • Wrinkle reduction effect
  • Moisturizing properties

However, one point worth noting is that a BB cream cannot replace your primer, moisturizer, anti wrinkle cream or a sunblock as the effects of a BB cream wont be as intense as that of an individual products designed for that purpose.Consider a BB cream as an addition to your makeup bag which can help you skip a few steps when you are running out of time.
